What is the Florida Drug and Alcohol Course (TLSAE)?

The Florida Traffic Law & Substance Abuse Education (TLSAE) course, commonly called the "Drug and Alcohol Course," is a state-required 4-hour program for all first-time drivers age 18 and older. It covers essential driving laws, safe driving strategies, and the effects of alcohol and drugs on driving ability. Completing this course is the first step toward getting your Florida driver' license.
