1. Are your courses Florida DHSMV-approved?
Yes. All courses are officially approved by the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (DHSMV).
2. Will my certificate be accepted by the court or DMV?
Yes. Our certificates are valid in all 67 counties and accepted by every Clerk of Court and Tax Collector office.
3. Is everything online?
Yes. Courses are 100% online and can be taken from any internet-connected device.
4. How long does each course take?
BDI: 4 hours
TLSAE: 4 hours
DETS: 6 hours
5. Can I take breaks?
Yes. Your progress saves automatically.
6. What if I fail?
Unlimited retakes are included - open-book, no pressure.
7. How do I get my certificate?
Certificates are mailed via USPS for free. Expedited options are available.
8. Do you notify the DMV?

Traffic School (BDI) - Ticket Dismissal Questions
15. What is the BDI course?
A 4-hour online course to dismiss traffic tickets, avoid points, and prevent insurance increases.
16. Who should take BDI?
Anyone cited for a moving violation and eligible should take traffic school in Florida.
17. How often can I take traffic school in Florida?
Once every 12 months, up to 5 times in a lifetime.
18. Is BDI accepted in every Florida court?
Yes. All 67 counties accept our BDI course.
19. Can BDI lower insurance rates?
Sometimes - ask your insurance provider for details.
20. Can CDL drivers take BDI?
No. CDL holders aren't eligible for point dismissal.
21. Will this remove points already on my record?
No. It only prevents new points from being added.
22. I got a ticket out of state - can I still take this course?
Possibly. Check with the out-of-state court.
TLSAE Course (Adults 18+) Questions
23. What is TLSAE?
A 4-hour course required for adults (18+) getting their first driver's license.
24. Is the TLSAE course mandatory?
Yes - for all first-time license applicants 18 or over.
25. How long is the TLSAE course?
4 hours (as required by state law).
26. Do you notify the Florida DMV?
Yes. Results are submitted electronically.
27. Can someone under 18 take TLSAE?
No. Minors must now take the DETS Course.
DETS Course (Minors Under 18) - Starting July 1, 2025
28. What is the DETS Course?
A 6-hour driver education traffic safety course required for minors applying for a Florida learner's permit.
29. Is DETS required for a permit?
Yes. Starting July 1, 2025, DETS replaces TLSAE for all drivers under 18.
30. Is DETS approved by the Florida DHSMV?
Yes. We are an official, approved provider.
31. What's included in DETS?
Rules of the road, traffic laws, dangers associated with drugs and alcohol, distracted driving, and general driver education.
32. Can I take the DMV permit test online with you?
Yes. We offer the official DMV permit test online after successful competion of the DETS Course.
33. Can I take DETS on my phone or iPad?
Yes - 100% mobile-friendly.
34. Can I take the official Learner's Permit Test Online?
Yes, we are authrorized by the DHSMV to provide the testing online for those who complete the DETS Course and are under 18.
35. What if I fail the test?
You can retake it. Fees may apply.
36. Do I need parental permission?
Yes. A parent/guardian must approve your enrollment for the Learner's Permit Test Online and monitor your testing.
37. How much does DETS cost?
$7.79 plus required state fees.
38. When will I get my certificate?
After completion. We mail it free via USPS and also offfer expedited certificate delivery options.
Devices, Timing & Delivery
39. Can I switch devices mid-course?
Yes. Your progress syncs automatically.
40. Can I complete the course in one sitting?
Yes. Or take breaks - your choice.
41. Is there a deadline to finish?
For traffic tickets and Judge ordered courses, yes. Please consult your County Clerk of Court for deadline information as it may vary by county. Consult the DMV (or letter provided) for DMV ordered courses. For the DETS Course and TLSAE Course, there are no deadlines, other than the 18 year old transistion requirements.
