If I have a Florida License, but get a ticket in another state, can I take the BDI Course to remove the points from my driving record?
No. Per FL statute 322.27(3)(e), taking the BDI course for point removal only qualifies for tickets issued in the state of Florida. If you received your traffic violation in another state, the BDI course will not work to remove the points from your driving record.
